So, the New Year's Eve thingy went quite good. I had prepared myself for ultimate drunkenness after the eve meal because that seemed to be the best next thing to do after working my mouth with the BBQ'ed chicken&cow and the few salad.

Wait. No. I didnt even finish my chicken thigh because I was either talking or listening attentively to my mingling partners; a couple of Canadian lovers who, as it turned out, had made the Eve so much better. They liked my so-called American accent (?) and paid great attention to each topic, which was totally fun. It always amazed me to know a relationship can be THAT strong and i was very impressed at how they looked  and talked and touched each other. It gives me more reason and hope that I can eventually get my own love.

Everyone's gone after 12 am.
I retreated to my room, the exciting spirit and the leftover energy...I felt like going to Karaoke to celebrate the new year with some more drinks which was impossible because I simply have no vehicle. I listened to Chris Richardson's Floating off the Ground over and over again until I gave up on waking up.

One important thing, I want to say lots of thanks to my beloved friend Servaas Verbrugge. You've been one of the sweetest persons that had enriched my 2009. All the best and good luck on the love department ;)
