(I) Need to Learn Englisch

I need to make a confession: My English suck. Though no one has the gut to tell it to my face but I sensed it. I knew it. Look at your confused face when I pulled up my inauthentic American accent. Then I would pulled my amateur British accent. I fell silent when I heard someone spoke in Aussie accent, chuckled and stopped when I realized it was my own voice.

Ah, I have this vivid memory, it was years ago when I was hooked up with books and Google: The pain-in-the-ass Thesis semester. Felt a bit stressed out couldnt find a shit about 'Free Will' articles online, I clicked on Yahoo!chat, joined a random room, and it happened to be Religious chat room :Christian Room. Ah, those memories of being Innocent... So yeah, this dude halla at me, I halla back then we swap English Introduction 101. Soon, we talked about Jesus, Sex, and Folks. It was my turn to uncover a lil bit of my family background.

Me: I wish I had time to make it up with my [late] Dad.

Silent.

Me: Yeah, I know. If only I stopped being a jerk.

Silent.

Me: Dude, are you still there?

Him: Yeah, I dunno what to say.

Silent

Me: I know, rite?!

Then he went offline and I was puzzled what the hell went wrong?  I scrolled up the chat on the screen and then finally figured out that this dude totally got the wrong idea of what I'd tried to say. I was saying I wanted to mend the Father-and-Son relationship on last Christmas when Dad died on November, left me a bunch of hysterical neighbors waited on me back in Sibolga, who loved dramatic mourning son. Yessir, this dude thought I was into Incest.

By then, I knew I should polish my English, or should change my major into Hebrew which I bet I could be awesome, orally.

Anyway, woke up this morning with a pang of happiness. It's weekend, y'all! And amazingly; I have no plan. Yan said he'd pick me up at 7pm to see this music concert from unknown aliens at his ex-campus. I said yes but I know I'm gonna give him my stupid smile and say I'm so hooked up with this new book I bought from Gramedia bookstore a few minutes ago, and I gotta write and sign my Chritsmas card, and practice some carol for this Christmas. On my own. LOL

The weather is nice, which means no damn beast sun. I walked the whole way to and from the bookstore with less sweat on my back and face.

Now, I'm gonna run to stuff my moth with that regular Nasi Campur and go home planning on what to do for the rest of this awesome cloudy hopefully rainy day.
