I know tons of reasons for you not to be in touch with your friend(s,) and most of the reason should be either of your busy life, or, of your non-exciting life. I've lost contact with some of mine but I send Birthday wishes or Christmas wishes on time, and these are texts I've recently received from them:

"Jesus Loves you." ---This friend of mine ends up forwarding this kind of message to my number, no Hi or Howdy.

"...I'm leaving for Japan for work."---This friend has been constantly texting me in months gap, kept on asking where on earth I am.

"...could you send me some phone credit."---Someone I dont even bother to recall.

"How're you doing?!!"--Someone who might knows me but didnt answer my Do-I-Know-you text.
