TodaY

I slept like a baby last nite, thanks for your phone call, that made my day, indeed.
I was woken up by a sms from unfamiliar number asked me what's the translation for "This is my last Step."

I guessed it was from Linda, my cousin (Tika's older sister.)

I didnt reply it right away, because what I had to do first after got my ass out of the bed was [as always] take a leak [pee,] then drag myself to the kicthen to drink a glass or more of water, fix Kiko's food, then change my clothes and go to work.

But today, as I opened the rice cooker, it was empty, Al and Green must eaten up all the rice I cooked last nite, so I've had to cook for Kiko's breakfast and dinner [because I will spend my nite at Ellie's] and unfortunately I couldnt wait till it's cooked, so I rushed to work, later sent sms to Green asked for his help.

Today's the Parliamentary Election Day which is Public/national holiday. The road was empty and barren, a ghost town, only a few people on the road. It took me a while to wait for the bus, which is quite unusual. From where I stood which was in front of the Batak pork specialty restaurant, I can see the Election Booth a Hundred meter from it, some people who must be the staffs and some eyewitnesses.

The day, the sky, the atmosphere is not something of Political, but of a seasona, much needed holiday for all. Many are taking this holiday visiting their families back home, since they'll back to work next Monday, and I felt that sort of desire.

When the bus stopped, there were only five or six of us. And funnily, all looked unusually lazy, if not laid back. Two women with veils, another one who is so skinny with white teeshirt and jeans, along with her male companion, heading hometown, I guess.

And the driver drove intolerrably fast that I had to grip hard on the edge of the seat, the road was absolutely empty. Everyone looked tensed up but no one said anything to the driver, as if all of us there were hungry for this speed in our lives, liked this risk and a bit of weird sensation of it.

I arrived at work, in the morning, though my work started four in the afternoon. I just didnt feel like spending the morning at home. So, to-day, I spent the whole morning with long conversation with Ellie, watched TV, and bought our lunch from the Padang restaurant across the street, and slept 30 minutes before I started my shift.

Lina, Green's older sister had accompanied him all the time during his shift.
Al, in his light colored short sleeved shirt paid a visit in the morning around 10, checked the freshly painted second floor and made some comment on the overall condition; new chairs for the second floor, get rid of that ugly drawer behind the operator's desk, please keep the place nicer, cleaner...the he took a becak for shopping which he usually does on Friday. Probably he just avoided the possibe over-crowded Friday shopping free.

it's almost seven pm right now when i'm writing this. Ellie goes to the swimming pool with two girls, one of them is the internet cafe's IT guy's girlfriend.

"Are you sure?" she asked me. I told her to go, she didnt have to keep me company everytime she's home. Besides, she looked terribly bored, threw her glance outside at the running cars.
I'll be fine, go on, i insisted, I will call you if something's wrong.
So, I'm alone, with six users currently using the computers; three upstairs and three downstairs. We got no much customers today because of the long weekends.

uhm...four hours to go. I will use them to play online game. HAve you ever heard of Diner Dash game? It's a time management game mostly played by female gender, Hehehehe. But what the hell, i just want to keep me busy with fun thing.

A pizza[hut] guy delievered the next door's order. I'm getting hungry now. LOL Gotta wait till Ellie comes home because I cannot leave the net cafe without anyone looks over it.
