The Saturday

I had a good sleep last nite but woke up late this morning, slammed hard the alarm clock when it screamed at 5.30 am. It was cloudy, the rainy season kicked off again, so it seemed. We've been having rain in the late afternoon or eraly in the morning, flood in some area [during the rain] passes by the bus home.

And because it's the long weekend for the majority, the net cafe is packed, but as I'm writing this, it's full, not only of smoke but also of customers. Green has just left, handed me some small change [200 rupiah bills worth of 20.000] and headed to Sun Plaza with Al.

Eli is taking a shower and do her woman things [beautifier AKA Make up] because after I finish my shift, we're going to Sun plaza, too. Ive run out of my milk, deo, and some other stuffs, and she wants to buy bikini for her stay in Bali.

We went to the Padang restaurant across the street for our lunch.
"Those two pregnant women need to find additional partner so they could join the housewives singing contest on TV," said one of the restaurant workers, seems to be a newbie, smiled at me, hoped I would say something funny in return. Unfortunately, it took me a while to understand what he meant, that joke, and coompletely forgot what the singing TV contest name. Was it Mama Mia?
After we crossed the street and unwrapped my lunch, I recalled the name of the TV program, Dream Girls. It was too late.

I had Lele and she had Ayam Gule which she regretted, "I should've bought Ikan Sambal, instead!" half-heartedly peeling off thye skin of the chicken breast, mouth pouted, looked cute as hell. I didnt wanna trade my Lele, so I just said, "Ah, yeah." :)

And I was sort of embarassed last nite. Well, I was totally embarassed, i'm telling you. As we got back home, ran my feet to my room, I sensed there was something 'new' in the room but couldnt spot what, failed to see the bed was made.

We sat down in the TV room, the light in that room was unlit, as usual, because the light from the kicthen. Green laid on the long brown wooden chair, both hands abover his head, I sat with legs crossed on the green rattan chair, the TV was turned off, and Al was at his final quest for their [pasta] dinner cook.

As Al walked, carried two big white bowl of pasta, he turned right and stopped, both of us looked at him, waited for him to say something, anything. As if my eyes said, "yes, Al? What?" He said,"Jerry, I had laundried your bed cover and your pillow cover. I jumped out of my chair, "What?" Jesus, why did you do that? I mean, please, you didnt need to do that for me, not at all. Come on!" I smiled bitterly, out of my red embarassed face.

"It was utterly dirty. And you left the window closed, the room was damp and was not not fresh at all," he said, while I looked instead at his hand that held firm to the bowls.

"You make me feel bad and dirrrty," I said, then unable to burst into stupid shame laughter, Green grinned, while he walked to the living room, "You are!" he said.

"God, yeah rite!" I said, kind of loud, my voice was still covered by my laughter.

We've made unwritten Memorandum of Understanding, "You run the errands around the house from Monday to Thursday, I will take over on the weekend," he said.

And....now my shift is over, but I need to count my earnings and all before the Afternoon shift takes over.. Enjoy your weekend, folks!
