Yes.
After spending a few days back at my childhood hometown from Dec 31 till JAnuary 5, I returned to Medan with a handful of cookies mother prepared for the New Year. It turned out no kids showed up on JAn 1. They went to rivers and beaches, instead.

Dec 31st after twelve a.m, we had a family New Year Service without my second sister who apparently tried to get the last-minute excitement of the crowd downtown. She worked till 11 at the store and basically, missed the live band performances, small fireworks shot from many places in the city, and most of all, the countdown.

And she failed to take one cake home for us.

I had problem with adjusting my voice to mom's and Renata's because they sang at the top of their lungs and I was lost, drowned in my lowest note. Shrieking, sometimes.

"YOu first," Renata said.

so there I was, delivering the same-old new year speech saying I thank God for new chance, thank them all (sincerely, indeed) for what they've done for me, and ask for forgiveness for being a pain in the arse, sometimes.

We shake hands, skip the drink, ah no, we did get super sweet milk. THanks sister.

I gave up and slept after three in the morning. The Sat TV Channels were so boring. Israel's attacks to the Hamas, Russia's decision to cut the gas thing to the Ukraine, Weaken Pounds, US Auto Bailout.
There was only one good news and it came from Aussie; the Gaysat.TV channels
And we would never ever get it in Indonesia.

No, the good news is coming from myself:
I'm in love.

but it's not official yet.
